A tiny sneak peak

I got back from London tonight, as I flew down to celebrate one of my friend's birthday with her. I feel like so much went on in these last four days it is ridiculous and could have happened over a whole week. But no, I had to go on a 9am flight right after our Halloween party. 

Let me tell you, that was a horrible idea.

But for now I just want to sleep, and then get back to normal. And be a little sad that Halloween is already over.

 

3..2..1.. Fringe over and out.

3 more days and then the 2013 Fringe is already over! As always, it felt weirdly fast and slow at the same time. As a newbie to the whole Fringe thing I also feel like I didn't watch any shows at all, I should have done way more exploring and should have prepared more lunches instead of spending all that money  on sandwiches (haha). But oh well, next year is gonna be my year!!!! I definately enjoyed it and I think that's all that matters for now. SO here you go, a little Assembly Festival picture bomb-

My job at the Fringe {update}

Okay, so my first 8 hour shift of my new job is done and I really like the job. It's not like in the call centre where you have to keep calling people the whole time. Because that's seriously all you have to do there. Here we can chat, get to see people and learn so much new stuff- who knew that Ireland doesn't do postcodes? I didn't.

Anyway, I am super happy with the people I work with and I am very excited to be around them for all of August. I have no clue about any of the British comedy or theatre people performing at the Fringe, so it's good to be with people who do have a clue. Or get inspired by people telling me that they are going to see over 100 shows in August. o m g
One show I really do wanna see is Drum Struck. They give everyone in the audience drums so it's not just people performing, but you actually get to take part in it. Man, I am sold.

Countdown.. {Fringe 2013}

The Fringe is only one week away and .. I am getting nervous/excited- and what I forgot to mention on this blog is that I got a job, which means I am gonna be part of this freakin mess in August! Not on the performers side, thank God. I am just going to be selling tickets. But at 8h a day for 27 days (pretty much) straight, I am gonna be busy enough, I think.

What I am not looking forward to is all the people blocking the streets... getting somewhere on time is gonna be such a nightmare... 

Robbie Williams Concert {Take the Crown Tour 2013, Glasgow}

Phueew, I have anticipated this concert for soooo long and all of the sudden it was happening.It was a bit of a shame that I was going by myself, but oh well. The crowd was a bit strange to be honest, mostly middle aged women with pink glittery hats. Not sure who else I excpected though.

Now because he is still touring and I don't want to "ruin" the show for anyone, I will just put the rest of the post behind the cut. Don't read it when you are still going to see the show, I think it would just spoil a lot of the fun.

I forget how much I like reading- I can't complain, our readings for uni are still quite interesting, but I do love these kind of books a bit better!
And this is only the beginning of my summer reading list ❤

I know this is crazy because I am already going to Texas next year and don't really have that much money, but Miriam and I are hopefully going to New York this September.
The idea of this trip makes me sooo happy- shopping, beach, roadtripping, drive-in outdoor movies, NYC, seeing our old places ❤❤

Imagine Dragons Concert {Glasgow 2013}

My last proper concert is aaaaages ago, probably in like 2009? My priorities shifted so much these last years and I think I just forgot how much fun concerts are.
This gig was definately a first in terms of newcomer bands. I have never seen a band being so overwhelmed by everything and so appreciative of their fans in such a genuine way- "I have no idea how you even know who we are" - it was so sweet to see them at the beginning of their career, because I am pretty sure we will never be able to see them in such a small venue and only pay 11 quid for a ticket. Sad in a way, but it felt pretty cool to be part of this.

There is no feeling that can compare when they play the song you love so much. Your whole body is itching to dance and your face is covered in the biggest grin- And I only know this band for like 4 months.  So I have a feeling that Robbie Williams is seriously going to make me cry (or sob)... oh man, at least I am going by myself haha

traveling 2013- PART 2 (Corfu)

 

It is weird and this idea comes from a simple brochure I looked at- I want to go to the Pink Palace in Corfu. It is an absolute party hostel and I am dying to go there.

Sometimes you just need those trashy sunny holidays.
And that is mine.

I wanna go on the booze cruise, do the cliff jumping and swim in to a cave-  sleep, tan and party.
