I like this idea of thinking that I left something behind at the places I traveled. And I don't mean the earrings I forgot in a hotel room in New York or the plastic bottle I threw out in California.
I mean things like this, stuff that stays (for a bit at least).
Put my gum on to this wall in Seattle
Put a lock on this bridge in Paris and throw the key in to the river
Throw a coin in to this fountain in Rome (there are around 3000€ in there, every day!)

Road trip NY- Boston {travel plans II}
Brown University
Martha's Vineyard
Newport, Rhode Island
I am just looking in to places to visit on our road trip and I keep stumbling over these beautiful pictures of beaches, small towns, harbours, small islands... all so pretty!
And Brown University is on the list because I already loved the other Ivy League Universities: Harvard and Yale were so beautiful. Also I keep thinking these places are only a dream and there are not really that many smart people attending those schools. So to have a sneak peek is more than fascinating.

Breathe In {film: coming soon}
via x |
'Breathe in' is the film that's gonna open the Edinburgh Film Festival and I am SO excited!
3 things why I am already in love with it:
- Felicity Jones (watch 'Like Crazy')
- it's about an exchange student
- the story takes place in upstate New York, close to where I lived ♥

My super talented friends
http://onceuponadesign.spreadshirt.co.uk/ |
Anyways, Michelle and I are super into the TV show "Once upon a time" and among a lot of other things, she now designs fan shirts.
I like to say that I kinda forced her to do the one with Ruby, the one you can see in the picture. I love love love the design!
I really hope a lot of people will buy these, just because they are so much better than those other fan shirts out there.
So people and fans, go ahead and buy those shirts!

New York, New York {travel plans}
via tumblr |
We both fly in to JFK, will go into Manhattan and stay there a few days until we will visit our old host families, spend some time with the kids and then go on a small road trip along the coast, going up to Boston. I am so excited for the beaches, the small towns, Cape Cod, eating fresh fish- did I say how excited I am?
So our trip will start with a couple of days in New York City, and this is what I reaaally need to see (again):

best day ever.
On Thursday, after the exam, we were sitting in our students union bar.
I missed a call and I hate when weird numbers call me. Julia googled the number and it turned out to be the Edinburgh Film Festival office number.
They wanted to invite me for an interview, because I applied to volunteer at the festival this year.
So today was the interview-
to be honest, it was not really an interview.
I talked to two nice women about my summer plans, America, got compliments for so many things and ended up being told that they want me. to volunteer. to greet the filmmakers and all the other important people. because they think I would be perfect for that job.
mind. blown.
needless to say, I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
