ROAD TRIP// Louisiana Swamp Tour

I guess I waited long enough, I need to share these pictures with you. After classes ended, Denise and I rented a car in Houston and went East. We stayed in Baton Rouge, and during the day we drove to Slidell to go on a swamp tour. Alligators, turtles and snakes were waiting for us!

I read some good reviews about their swamp tours, so we just went ahead and booked with them. They are still really old school with no internet booking and stuff

They can also pick you up from your hotel, but we drove to the landing where the boats leave from.

I just love all the trees with the Spanish Moss!

We were really lucky to see a couple of alligators, as there obviously is no guarantee that you actually see them on every tour. The swamp is so beautiful and such a unique place,  I loved the boat tour. This should definitely be on your to do list when you are in Louisiana.

After Halloween I flew to London to celebrate Georgie's 21st birthday- meeting up with these girls is the best thing: It's like we have never been apart. We are all shit at keeping in touch and have such different lives but that is not important. Spooning in our hotel bed, being the loudest in the pub, running around barefoot in Piccadilly Circus- I just love these girls to death ♥

I got back from London tonight, as I flew down to celebrate one of my friend's birthday with her. I feel like so much went on in these last four days it is ridiculous and could have happened over a whole week. But no, I had to go on a 9am flight right after our Halloween party. 

Let me tell you, that was a horrible idea.

But for now I just want to sleep, and then get back to normal. And be a little sad that Halloween is already over.

 

Instagram travel diary {New York and Vegas}

So.... I am back!!!
A little bit jetlagged and very happy to see everyone again here in Edinburgh. Going to University here without knowing the city before has been the best thing I have ever done. I love this city just so much.
But here we go, the first of maaaaaaaaaany travel posts to come.
